2017 OMBA March Power Breakfast - What's New in New Construction

Join us for a panel discussion on the trends and challenges facing new construction and development in the Portland Metropolitan Region. We will hear from local experts who are actively engaged in new construction and get their insights on all facets of housing in the region. We will cover topics ranging from how the local political and regulatory environment effects housing supply in our region to insights on the economic pressures unique to our area that impacts the housing and construction market.

Justin Wood
Vice President - Fish Construction

Justin has years of practice doing infill lots and subdivisions in the city of Portland. Their company was doing it before it was call infill. Justin has also work for the HBA or Metro Portland and lobbied on behalf of the housing industry for several years. He currently serves on the Oregon Home Builders and National Home Builder Association’s board of directors.

Kelly Ritz
President - Stonebridge Homes NW

Building 200 to 300 homes a year and developing subdivisions, they are one of the few Local mid-sized builders still active in the area. Kelly is currently the Vice President of the Home Builders Association of Metro Portland and has been an out spoken advocate for housing in the region.

Drake Butsch
Manager of Builder Services - First American Title

Drake runs the largest builder services team in the industry and is the Immediate Past President, Homebuilders Association of Metropolitan Portland. Having been active at all levels of the Home Builders Association and having been involved advocating on land use for more than 25 years, he is an expert in the field.
